To begin your journey toward becoming a Certified Professional Gong Player, you must complete an Introductory Gong Training course. This foundational step ensures you have the core skills and understanding needed to continue into more advanced gong studies.
✅ What Qualifies as Introductory Gong Training?
You’ve fulfilled this requirement if you’ve completed any introductory-level training in how to play the gong, including—but not limited to—the following courses offered by Mehtab:

Gong Practitioner Level 1 (online)

How to Play the Gong (in-person)
-
Beginning Gong Playing (in-person)
-
Master Gong Practitioner (in-person)
- Mentoring Sessions with Mehtab (online)
Other trainings or workshops from qualified teachers also count. If you have learned how to play the gong through:

A different certified gong teacher or school

In-person or online training programs

Sound healing workshops where basic gong techniques were taught
—you are eligible to continue the certification pathway.
