Certification Requirements

To qualify for the Professional Gong Player Certification, you must complete:

✓ The 5 Core Gong Training Courses with Mehtab

1. Gong Practitioner Level 1
   The foundational online course to learn playing techniques, gong care, and sound principles. Also accepted: Master Gong Practitioner (In-Person) or How to Play the Gong (In-Person) or another equivalent training.
2. Gong Therapy Training
   Learn to play the gong therapeutically for individuals and groups using mudra, mantra, postures, and environment setup.
3. Gong Yoga Nidra
   Use the gong to enhance the yogic sleep state and guide others through transformative relaxation journeys.
4. Gong Meditation Training
   Explore specific gong playing patterns for various meditation practices, incorporating mantra, breath, mudra, and eye focus.
5. Gong Practitioner Level 2
   Expand your playing techniques, work with multiple gongs and mallets, and learn advanced applications in sound healing.

Additional Certification Requirements

• Two Years of Gong Playing Experience for Others
  Share your history of playing the gong for individuals or groups, including public sessions, classes, or therapeutic work.
• Personal Gong Playing Practice
  Describe your personal practice: what gongs you own/play, how often you play, and how you engage with the instrument.
• Two 1-Hour Private Mentoring Sessions with Mehtab
  These mentoring sessions (online or in-person) help guide your path and provide assessment and support.
  • First session: After completing 2 core courses
  • Second session: After all 5 courses are complete, before certification is awarded
  Mentoring Fee: $495 (for both sessions)

Upon successful completion, you will receive:

• Certificate of Completion as a Professional Gong Player
• Listing in the Directory of Certified Gong Professionals
