The Gong Workshops
Healing and Therapy with Hand-Held Gongs
Learn how to use small gongs for individual healing and therapy sessions. We will work one-on-one to take advantage of the unique benefits that hand-held gongs offer for healing, by themselves and with other sacred sound instruments.
Using Gongs in Ceremonies and Rituals
The Gong has been the major instrument for initiation ceremonies and transitional rituals for hundreds of years. We will experience how tbe Gong can be played to support major life transitions and to create meaningful rhythms in our daily lives based on the Sun and the Moon, as well as systematically clearing our living environments.
The Natural Gong: Playing Hand-Held Gongs Outside
The island of Mallorca offers many opportunities for learning how to play and enjoy the Gong in the mountains, near the ocean, and while communing with nature. We will explore how the gong can be used in different environments to complement the natural soundtracks of nature.
A Gong Player’s Sadhana: Yoga Practices to Enhance Your Playing
Playing the Gong for healing and transformation requires a commitment to inner growth by the player. We will experience and learn several powerful yoga practices and different techniques to develop our capacity to play in service and elevation.
Gong Circles: Transformation Through Group Playing
Playing the Gong together can exponentially multiply its effects on both the players and the listeners. We will learn how individually we can play the Gong in groups and healing circles, with each participant playing their own gong.
The Excursions
Alaro Castle – Castell d’Alaro
We will hike up to the castle where we will be rewarded with spectacular views of the region, and we’ll have the opportunity to play handheld gongs in the castle ruins!
Mirador Es Colomer Formentor
We will stop at this classic scenic site on the most northern coast of Mallorca.
S’Amarador Beach
S’Amarador is an award-winning glorious white sand beach that is part of the protected Mondrago National Park.
Necropolis of Son Real
Located just steps from the Mediterranean Sea on the northern coast of Majorca, the Necropolis of Son Real (Necròpoli de Son Real) is a sprawling prehistoric burial ground used from the Iron Age up through the Roman era.
The Studio
Peopletree Mallorca
Peopletree is a unique workshop and retreat space carved in to the foothills of the magical Tramuntana mountains of Alaro, on the stunning island of Mallorca in Spain. The owners, Andy & Anna, have a mission to bring like-minded people together to share inspiring content in a beautiful place.
The Village
Alaro, Spain
The bustling town of Alaró is nestled in a peaceful valley on the southern slopes of the Tramuntana Mountain range in Mallorca.
