About Yoga Nidra

One of the most profound ways to create relaxation with the gong is through a guided process known as Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra induces deep relaxation, heightens awareness, enables self-diagnosis, integrates changes, and accelerates healing. It is a powerful tool for therapeutic change that is accomplished over an extended (45 to 60 minute) relaxation period.

The practice of Yoga Nidra purifies the deep impressions of the individual’s samskaras, the driving and often hidden karmic forces behind many of our actions and conditions. Essentially, the state of Yoga Nidra gives access to the mind that is underneath our normal processing, fantasizing and imagining consciousness. It is an excellent tool for attenuating and eliminating habit patterns that are the root causes of physical and psychological problems that manifest in long-term stress and an inability to relax.
