About the Course
This is an in-depth course on the practice and teaching of Kundalini Yoga that provides you with certification as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher through the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) as well as membership in the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA).
The program follows the curriculum used by over 800 trainers internationally in more than 250 teacher training programs. There are over 32,000 KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Teachers around the world.
The course is highly experiential and interactive and open to students from all levels of yoga experience and backgrounds.

The topics covered in the course include the history and philosophy of Kundalini Yoga, the practice of sound and mantra, the different techniques of meditation and pranayama, western and yogic anatomy, including the chakras and energy body, the development of a personal yoga practice, and how to begin teaching yoga.
Completion of the course requirements provides you with credentials as a professional Kundalini Yoga teacher.

Mehtab Benton is a Lead Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer and originator of Gong Yoga. He began his teacher journey in the San Rafael Kundalini Yoga Ashram in 1974 and has led over 50 Level 1 and Level 2 Kundalini Yoga teacher training programs in the USA, as well as conducting gong certification trainings in 20 countries.
Laura (Guru Karam) Benton is a Lead Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer and advanced practice nurse. She began her practice of Kundalini Yoga at the age of 16 and has trained yoga teachers in several disciplines over the last 25 years.

COURSE FORMAT
Weekend Classes
Weekend classes consist of lecture, group interaction, and yoga practices with time for questions and discussions. They will also provide an in-depth experience of meditation, teaching, and special topics. Live classes are recorded for your viewing and study convenience.
Self-Paced Courses
Special topic workshops and classes are available on-demand to fit your schedule.
Teaching Practicums
Learn to teach in small break-out groups online with fellow students. You will receive trainer guidance and peer feedback to help develop your yoga practices and teaching skills.
Online Class Environment
All live online classes are interactive, allowing for questions and discussions with the teacher training team, as well as with fellow students, including group interactions in the breakout rooms. Email access to the teacher trainer team trainers available throughout the course.

Tuition and Textbooks
Tuition includes weekly teacher training classes, weekend immersions, self-paced courses, and complementary access to a library of Kundalini Yoga classes. Your textbook and accompanying manual, either printed or electronic, are included in your tuition fee. No additional materials, fees, or books are required.
