ABOUT VEDIC ASTROLOGY
Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish or the Science of Light, has its roots in ancient India and is part of the greater system of yogic knowledge known as the Vedas.
Practiced and taught by the Yogis, Vedic astrology is related to the sister sciences of Ayurveda (healing), Vastu (sacred space), and all the different practices of yoga, including mantra, pranayama, asanas, and meditation. Its origins predate all written texts and it has been more extensively studied and researched than any other system of knowledge.
While similar to Western astrology, Vedic astrology provides an additional wide range of tools for comprehensive astrological interpretation, from examining the unique gifts and challenges each lifetime brings us, understanding our karmic obligations and opportunities, and the predictive ability to give guidance on how to live in harmony and fulfill our unique destiny.
For seekers, teachers, yogis, counselors and healers, the ancient system of Vedic astrology provides us with a profound wisdom and cosmic understanding of how to use its time-tested methods and intuitive knowledge to live a fulfilled existence on both the material and spiritual planes of existence.
