All thoughts and actions depend upon the balance between the Negative, Positive, and Neutral Minds.

In Kundalini Yoga, these three Functional Minds provide a unique way of understanding how the mind influences perception, decision-making, emotional patterns, and spiritual growth.

In this training, you will practice all 27 Kundalini Yoga meditations used to balance the three minds and the 27 projections that arise in the generation of thought.

You will learn to:

  • Recognize how imbalances in the three minds manifest in daily life
  • Identify how the projections of the mind determine happiness and growth
  • See the opportunity in the present moment to break habitual reactive patterns

2. Kundalini Pranayama Therapy

January 9-10 and 16-17, 2027

The breath meditations and breathing practices in Kundalini Yoga are among the most effective therapeutic tools for healing and spiritual transformation.

Anxiety, depression, addictive behaviors, emotional and physical imbalances can all be helped on an individual basis through specific Kundalini Yoga breathing practices.

In this advanced training, you will learn the theory and practice of many rarely taught Kundalini pranayama practices for self-healing and helping others.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • Six segmented breathing patterns for meditation, relaxation, and walking
  • Two, three, and four-part ratio breaths to clear the subconscious and adjust the magnetic field
  • Six different breath stroke practices to connect intuition with the subconscious and balance energy for stress relief
  • Alternating the breath channels to clarify the subtle body and develop pranic energy
  • Working with solar and lunar energies to balance the brain and metabolism
  • Five short, powerful breath exercises to reset the mind and create calmness
  • The four best kriyas to experience the pranic body
  • Using Breath of Fire to charge the practice of asanas and mudras

3. Kundalini Yoga and Ayurveda for Self-Healing Therapy

February 6-7 and 13-14

Success in all forms of yoga comes from understanding your basic nature, or what Ayurveda calls prakriti — your natural constitution and current state of being.

Kundalini Yoga is unique because it offers a wealth of Ayurvedic practices to heal yourself and others through specific meditations, kriyas, mudras, diet, daily routines, and elemental awareness.

In this 16-hour course taught by Mehtab and Laura, a Clinical Ayurvedic educator, you will learn how to apply Ayurvedic principles with Kundalini Yoga to create a powerful healing system for yourself and others.

  • How your elemental needs change throughout your life and during the year

Mehtab is a Level 1 and Level 2 Lead Teacher Trainer and Mentor with certification in Ayurveda and Yoga, Vedic Gemstone Therapy, and Vedic Astrology.

Laura Benton / Guru Karam, MSN, RN, is a Kundalini Yoga Lead Teacher Trainer with additional Marisha Ayurveda Training for Licensed Health Care Professionals.
